My letter of intent.

I know people are leery of anyone wanting to become Premier. I completely understand. I have felt the same way myself. What is this person really up to? Are they going to turn out to be just like all the other parties? Good questions. I don't trust politicians either. I have heard, and experienced for myself, the problems concerning every day people; about how difficult it is just to get by, how expensive everything is, and how they feel that the BC government is squeezing them dry. There is only so much a person can stand, before they say enough is enough!

Well, I am saying enough is enough!

It is about time we had someone in Victoria who will speak up for, listen to, and address the concerns of the everyday citizen.

Since I don't belong to any party other than the one I am forming, the ONLY people I will be required to answer to are you, the people of British Columbia.

The Citizens Party of BC, will be by the citizens, for the citizens.

I have given every politician an honest chance, but they all end up hurting and/or ignoring the normal person.

I have no formal education. I do not have a PH. D, or any letters after my name. I am not a lawyer, nor am I a politician. I am not rich, and in fact, I have to struggle every month just to get by. The education that I do have is first hand experience from the University of Life. The first priority is to look after the people.

I am just one of you.

People are having to go into debt just to get the necessities. After doing some studying, I have discovered that in the 2008 tax year the cut off line, for a single person with no children is $20,000 per year. That works out to just shy of $1700.00 per month. For a family, the poverty line is $25,000.00 per year, which works out to $2083.00 per month. The Government wants to call it the cut off line, but let's call it what it is; the poverty line. I don't know many people who are making anywhere near that amount. Even ones with 2 or 3 jobs.

My desire is to build up BC, and stand up for the people, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to help the people of BC. Let's turn this Province up-side-down, and make it prosperous for everyone.

What you see is what you get. What I say I will do, I will do. I believe in leading by example. Remember, I am not a politician.
