CONFLICT RESOLUTIONS

           The Minister in charge, a representative of the management, and a front line worker would get together.

           Whoever comes to the table must be able to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. 

           Every person at the table will be treated with respect and dignity.

           No cussing or swearing! Each person will be given an opportunity to speak without interruption.

           No cross talk! And no rolling of the eyes. I don't care how many times you have heard the requests  

           before.

           It would be a sit down meeting to discuss possible practical solutions that would work for everyone 

           concerned.

           If someone really can't behave, then another representative, chosen by their side would be asked to

           take over for that individual.

                                                                Ministers

              Ministers for each department would be taken from actual workers in that field. For example, the 

           Minister of Education would be a former teacher. The Minister of Social Assistance would be someone

           who has been on the system, and the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs would be an Aboriginal etc.

           That way, the Minister will be more empathetic, as they know what it is like

           to be on the other side. As such, they will be looking at the problems

           from a completely different perspective.
